Be Afraid. Be Kind of Afraid.

In the spirit of Halloween, Id like to tell you all something odd and creepy. You see our dorms are situated in an old deserted air force base. The last of the soldiers left in 1996 but many buildings were left long before that. The college bought out 2 of the buildings and turned them into suitable suites. Its all fine and dandy for us. We get a big room with a fridge and a private bathroom. Whats bad is that were basically in the middle of a small deserted town that was once the base. Lifeless buildings surround us and abandoned airplanes are everywhere.

Every night we drive through the roads and park in the old garages. Then you begin to wonder is that how all teenage horror movies start? You find yourself being glad to come back to a well-lit dorm. Well, a well-lit dorm is now starting to make me uneasy.

I always wondered why the college hasnt bought out the 3rd building that is right next to us. It would make it easier for the students and generate more money for the college. My question was answered yesterday. Turns out the 3rd building was once a morgue. If that isnt enough, this whole area was once a Native American burial ground. There were reports of ghost sightings such as a floating young lady in a white dress but maybe these people just smoked too much weed. Ghosts or not, the 3rd floor of this building has 666 mysteriously written on their ceiling.

Knowing all of this on Halloween should scare me into popping my pants but seeing is believing and Im not seeing much.

Happy Halloween!
