The Battle of Drunk Egos

The Corporate race at Beartown happened to be just a beer fest where rich middle aged men tried to see who can come down a joke of a mountain after consuming vast amounts of beer. Kelly and I went to support our co worker but secretly we wanted to make a good impression on our boss who had this own team ready of self proclaimed expert skiers. Then of course we heard the most beautiful two words in the English dictionary, open bar, and naturally stayed around to see how many people would tumble down on their skis. One by one we watched strangers slalom down the hill in the fastest times possible from various corporate teams which had the oddest names such as The Store or The Hapless Bunch and the most mind boggling one was the Pepsi Polack which at first I took it as Pepsi Polar but various people around me were quite convinced it was Polack. Naturally I had to boo every time it was mention though loud booing from the very Polack with a beer in her hand didnt really help the image.
